The hosting company changed servers almost 2 weeks ago. Somebody didn't do their homework as the migration completely killed their servers. The migration wiped out e-mail, ftp usage and databases. Tech support was a joke as the receptionist was basically taking calls and taking notes for return calls that never happened. I left a voice mail last Monday morning at 8 AM only to get a return call on Friday after 5 PM saying to call them back. The two messages I left with humans have yet to be returned. I highly doubt anyone will return my call about yet another problem reported today.

The website appears to be functional now. I've yet to upload any updates because I'm still waiting for the database to be fixed. Best case scenario: I have to rewrite some code to access the database. That's why everything looks like crap and there have been no updates of any sort lately.

I do have a review for Watchmen to post. In the meantime, visit Rotten Tomatoes to read the review until I can post it here.

As part of the new stimulus package, President Obama is asking everyone to "spring forward" again. Tonight at midnight, everyone should set their clocks ahead one hour. "During these troubling economic times, people need an opportunity to relax after a hard day's work. By setting the clocks forward one more hour, we will be able to enjoy another hour of sunlight," said Obama. Obama hopes that by allowing an additional hour of sunlight, people will be more likely to visit restaurants and shopping centers just to get out and enjoy the sun. "I feel this is just what we need to get the economy back on track. A happy consumer is more likely to buy and consumers are happier when they can shop with nice weather."

The extra hour of daytime will also promote interaction with the family, an important issue with Obama. "After a long day of work, dads can come home and play ball with their boys. Families can spend quality time at the playground or park. If we come together as a nation and enjoy the time we have with each other, we can gain the strength necessary to weather these troubling economic times."

When asked how long this time adjustment would last, Obama didn't know. "It all depends on when our economy stabilizes. I expect this will be in place until the end of the summer. By then, people may like it so much that we just keep it all the time. Those winter months get dark very early."
