Here it is folks. The review you've been waiting on with bated breath has finally arrived. In between homework problems, I managed to string some sentences together giving my less than expert opinion about
Horton Hears a Who. Enjoy.
Here’s an e-mail I received today (verbatim).
God dag,

To broil horse closed around him, and there, for five minutes, and tender boil’d, thick them with a little milk majorgeneral, and serve gratis and pay their own cross, i held my head as high as i could, and very swiftly reviewed, for just as i had reached with a blue ribbon round his neck, and called clara, were also visited inby major powell and one sorrow comes close upon the heels of another. Spring break is here, although it's half over now. I was so anxious to have a break. I was experiencing a serious burnout with school and work, so much so that I basically gave up on writing reviews. The last review I posted (
The Other Boleyn Girl) was such a struggle to write because I wasn't motivated. I didn't even bother writing a review for
Jumper because I was tired and it wasn't all that good. It is probably worth a DVD rental if you feel you must see it.
It's amazing what several days without going to work or doing homework will do for a person. I've spent my spring break taking care of stuff around the house. I managed to clean up the war zone (e.g. my office) and box up over a year's worth of comics. I finally had an opportunity to watch
Monsters, Inc., not the best Pixar film, but at least a top three. The theater got more of my money as we saw
Horton Hears a Who and
10,000 BC, both of which will get reviews in the near future. And, I can't forget game time. MySims and Super Smash Brothers Brawl have gotten their share of play time as well.
Now that I have some motivation, I've written and posted a review for
The Bank Job. It isn't your basic bank heist movie. Make sure to read this review if you are planning on seeing it.
Saw
The Other Boleyn Girl. Wrote a review that took forever, but it is posted. Now I'm tired and void of wit.
Here's an interesting read from 1955. Who knew that in 1955 women were encouraged to be gay?

Based on our interests, it's a wonder that Erika and I are together. Oddly, the one thing we seem to agree on most of the time is TV shows. If it weren't for me, Erika may be stuck watching
The Pussycat Dolls and
The Apprentice.
I watched season 1 of
Heroes religiously. It was the one show I couldn't miss every week. I guess it grew on Erika once she realized that Peter Petrelli was good to look at.
It's also my fault that Erika has become fanatical about
Ghost Hunters. I happened upon it by chance one day and it was interesting. Next thing you know I'm catching Saturday marathons of it. While you wouldn't know it by listening to her talk about
Ghost Hunters, but there was a time when she wouldn't watch it because it was too freaky. Somewhere along the way, she started looking for cute boys instead of ghosts, and now I have to deal with new episode squeals.
But, to be fair, she's the one that found
Mythbusters. It's so nerdy, but funny at the same time. If I had known science was so fun, I'd have chosen a slightly different path in college.
While I can adamantly deny being fanatical about
One Tree Hill, I have to admit it is at least entertaining. I never paid attention to the show before this season, and were I alone on a Tuesday night, I probably wouldn't tune in. However, I can think of worse things to watch on Tuesday night, such as a boring episode of people who think they can sing, but in reality a British snot has already determined the outcome.
Unfortunately, one of this season's best new shows,
Reaper, has been all but canceled. I loved it and I think Erika found it entertaining at least. One of the wittiest shows on TV,
Reaper has not been picked up for a second season. The CW elects to keep Smallville which has turned into the biggest pile of garbage. I truly don't understand why shows never get the chance they deserve. If nothing else, Kevin Smith can probably get this on cable some where.
