I admit it. I'm procrastinating on the updates. I had time to do a review this weekend, but I didn't feel like it. All I wanted to do was play games. Right now I'm concentrating on finishing up Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. I'm in a "I just want to beat this game" mode right now. The game is pretty much boring, but I've put too much time into it to give up. As Spyro, a little purple dragon, you run around letting your personal dragonfly pick up gems while you try to find and catch other dragonflies in order to "save the world". There are some mini games involved that break up the action and range from "take a nap" too easy to "pull all your hair and toenails out" super, frustrating hard. I guess you can consider it a puzzle game: hunt down the gems and the dragonflies, go to the next level, lather, rinse, repeat. I have a growing stack of gamecube games that I've beaten and plan on getting rid of, so if you want them, let me know. I'll cut you a good deal on them. Right now I have a demo disk (Viewtiful Joe, Splinter Cell, Sonic Heroes, Billy Hatcher, and SoulCalibur 3 demos), Pikmin, Metroid Prime and Spyro (once I complete it).

Sunday I'm off to play for a week in Vegas. I've set my limit and plan to stick to it even though my parents expect me to sell everything I own there. You'd think I am a member of Gambler's Anonymous. I'll be back with stories galore and with any luck motivation to get those updates done. Although this is a personal site, it's still work to update. Whether it's for me or for my job, work is still work and I need a break.

Hello everyone. I know it's been forever since there's been anything new here, but that's what happens when real life smacks you in the head. I don't know everything that's happened over the past 3 weeks except that I've been hard at work with online classes as I get closer to teaching with Westwood Online. I'm still at ITT for now, but I'm hoping to change that sooner rather than later. I think my welcome has worn out especially after the latest events. I filled out my vacation request about a week and a half ago only to have the director of campus say no because there was a final I had to give the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Apparently a decision had been made before the school moved to its new location that the Friday we missed for the move would have to be made up. Of course, they didn't tell any of the instructors and still haven't officially made it known. The director insisted that every one was e-mailed (which wasn't true). I was pissed and came pretty close to quitting after arguing with the director. I talked to my immediate supervisor about the problem and finally got someone to back me up and tell him nothing had been said to any of us. So, I still get to go to Vegas (week of Memorial Day), but the whole ordeal has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I've seen several movies and the reviews will come eventually. It's going to take some time but I do plan to get caught up. Keep watching your e-mail. I'll send updates when I start getting things posted.

If any of you play World of Warcraft, let me know. I'm starting my new addiction soon. At least I've been told it's addictive. We'll see.

What a wild week this has been. From a musical to baseball to computer problems, this week has had it all. Thankfully, things seem to be slowing down in some aspects, but rocketing out of control in others. The weekend was welcome after a week of teaching. Erika and I went to Birmingham to see Chicago Saturday night and we went to an Alabama baseball game Sunday. Monday started off with computer problems. Erika's new computer wouldn't send or receive e-mail and my wireless internet connection was just not cooperating. The e-mail problem was solved after 2 days of working on it. Norton Anti-virus apparently doesn't think people should send e-mail, so it blocks the ports. Goodbye Norton. If faced with a similar problem, don't expect your ISP nor your web host to know how to fix the problem. The wireless issue isn't totally solved, but I'm definitely looking into ways of "borrowing" other wireless connections. No harm, no foul right?

This week is pretty cramped as well. I've got some online classes to take for Westwood College so that I can teach for them later this year. On top of that I have finals rapidly approaching and classes that ITT forces us to take for development. These things are so bogus. They sap hours of your life teaching a "do as I say not as I do" principle.

I posted a review today for Fever Pitch. This was actually ready last week, but I didn't have time to upload it. With so much other stuff going on this week, I don't know what I will be able to do in terms of updates before next week.
