In about 10 hours from the time that I'm writing this, I'll be getting in a car to drive to the airport for a 9 AM flight to the House of Mouse (Disney World). Like the Olympics, Erika and I are on a 4 year cycle to visit Orlando. It just so happens that we have a lot to celebrate this time around. Probably the most important is an early celebration of 10 years of marriage. Hard to believe it has been that long. Seems like just a few short years ago that we moved from Cleveland to warmer weather in pursuit of a Ph.D. (well not for me anyway). On top of that, Erika will be defending her dissertation soon and graduating in August. And for that hard work, she will be starting a new job in Arlington at The University of Texas - Arlington in August. I have reason to celebrate as well. I don't have any hits on a job, but I did finish my 18 hours of graduate level math (with a 3.5 GPA). Hopefully that will open a few doors; only time will tell. After the completely stressful beginning of the year with the mysterious illness, I think we both need a recharge of our batteries before embarking on our move to Arlington.

The vacation is going to put me behind in terms of movies. There was just too much going on today to go see Robin Hood. By the time we finish vacation, Shrek Forever After will be out. Thankfully the spring TV season is wrapping up next week so perhaps a mid-week movie will be in order when we get back to help catch up. Memorial Day weekend brings Prince of Persia and Sex and the City 2 (which I am apparently being dragged to after a dinner of my choice). The first couple weeks of June look weak, so I should be able to catch up soon.

The summer movie season is over a week old and here is my first review. I leave it with you before I travel to Furry Lover Land.
