What a pretty day. It's about time the sun came out and provided more than just light. I realize Mr. Groundhog didn't see his shadow but I didn't think spring would be here so soon. I know it will get cold again sooner rather than later so I will take advantage of what's provided.

It was awesome walking to class without a coat on, seeing people studying in the grass and playing frisbee. I saw some pretty interesting sidewalk scribbles as I trekked to class. Someone had managed to chalk a message in a Times New Roman font. Impressive.

And as usual, I was confronted with the usual jerks who feel the need to walk two and three people abreast on the sidewalk, not waning to budge. I get sick of this. The last time I checked, sidewalks were not one way streets. I watch it out my window and encounter it almost every day.

Whether it's two sorority girls blabbing about their hook-up of the week or people walking for exercise, no one wants to give up ground. Will it kill you to move over enough for oncoming traffic to pass? If you insist on walking beside your friend perhaps you can walk in the grass. Why inconvenience me because I'm walking alone? Maybe I should just ram the next person that doesn't move or takes that silly half step over. Look at me. Even turning sideways I can't fit through the one foot space you just created. Don't look at me in shock when I brush you aside with my shoulder. I'm just claiming the walking space that is rightfully mine.
