Apparently, to be a bagger at the grocery store, all you have to do is be able to move your arms. Reasoning and logical packing are not required. As I became of employment age, baggers at the grocery store had to be friendly and load similar items into bags not to mention pushing the cart of groceries out to the car. Such is not the case now. Today, your bread gets flattened by the soup cans, your eggs are at risk of high levels of toxins from the laundry detergent and your produce ends up looking like someone used it for bowling down aisle 3.

You would think that as a person who eats food, the bagger wouldn't want Clorox and steak in the same bag for fear of contamination. However, as is the case with many retail employees, they could care less about customer satisfaction as long as they are getting their $7.25 / hour. Most retail employees I encounter would much rather earn their money by standing around gossiping or smoking. I sure wish I got paid for doing nothing. Ok, I guess I do since I'm doing this at work right now.

If you hasn't visited recently, the Weekly Rundown is back in the Gameroom. Take a look at what's going on in my little world.
