Happy Halloween! One of the most fun times of the year as it perfectly acceptable to be freaky. Not only can you enjoy autumnal weather, but you can be anything or anybody and be "normal".

Unbelievably, I've also hit the one year mark on the web site. Last year I watched Mothman Prophecies and Ghost Ship for Halloween. I posted my first two reviews shortly after that and introduced the world to my corner of the Internet. Now, I'd like to say that I remembered I was hitting the one year mark and revamped my web site because of that. However, I've been wanting a revamp for several months and finally made the time to do it. The fact that it falls near the anniversary of the site is purely coincidental.

Unfortunately, in order to get this done, I had to cut out some updates I had planned. I won't be posting reviews for the following movies as anticipated: Alien vs. Predator, The Village and Wimbledon.

If you are interested, AVP was pretty bad, but the ending made me want to see the sequel. Any fan of that particular universe wants to see the Alien/Predator hybrid that hatches at the end. (My apologies for spoiling an ending.) The Village wasn't as creepy as I anticipated, but as always Shyamalan puts a nice twist in the movie, unfortunately it comes way to early. Wimbledon was cute, but a little dry for a British comedy.

Enjoy the site. There is more to come this week including a new column in the Gameroom -- Weekly Rundown -- where I give a quick take on what I've played during the week. Expect a review of fear dot com which we rented to watch this Halloween. Expect a nice revamp of the message boards as well when I get another block of time.
