T-7 days and counting. In one week I will be on the road to T-Town probably near Louisville. Because of the tremendous amount of time needed to finish packing and clean, I'm going to put the web site on hold for about 10 days. I'll update the blogger but nothing else. I have plenty to do with at least 4 movie reviews and probably a fifth before I leave town.

Tuesday night, I went to one of the best concerts of the summer seeing Maroon V and John Mayer. I was lucky enough to be sitting about 3 rows back between 3 teenage girls who were obvious Maroon V fans. Each one wore a t-shirt with their name and a picture of the band on the back. One of the girls' names was Becky. She was so excited she could hardly contain herself. I wouldn't have been surprised if she had a wet spot in her jeans.

John Mayer is a truly gifted guitarist. He played some nice riffs and did a cover of Jimi Hendrix. The stage was very simple with painted class panels standing behind the band. They were very pretty with lights shining behind them. Surprisingly, he played over two hours including the encore. The concert was much more entertaining than work.
